Ask believes its Sourcing Department adds strategic advantage to its business, negotiating for both the price point, and the value delivered. In this role, you will be part of the organization that forecasts, and controls the entire capital spend for Ask in partnership with the IAC Corporation.

The Role
Ask.com is seeking a specialist to join our team with a focus on sourcing IT spend within the categories of Software, Hardware and IT Services.

Your Task

  • Collaborate with internal customers on day-to-day tasks associated with order management.
  • Prepare bid requests, RFP/ RFI documents and requirements/specifications by partnering with internal customers.
  • Participate in new IT projects to support the sourcing team as required.
  • Monitor assigned vendor contracts for performance, and advance administration of renewals.
  • Consult with internal customers to determine sourcing needs, specifications and areas of standardization when requested.
  • Leverage your global sourcing experience to partner with finance and internal customers to ensure a consistent procurement process.
  • Assist the manager with other duties, and special projects.

Your Skills

  • 3+ years of sourcing/procurement, and contract management experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT products/platforms including storage, desktops, servers, network, and software, including routine knowledge of these supply markets.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships, and maintain networks across the organization.
  • Experience with staff augmentation sourcing models to support activities as needed.
  • Ability to multitask, and to prioritize multiple projects.

Summary Description
The Senior Director of FP&A would help oversee the financial planning and analysis for one of our most popular brands. Much of our need includes support creating modeling for our ad based revenue, understand the tech and media space and can own the P&L for the entire company. In this hands-on roll, they will collect, plan and analyze financial performance information across the entire brand, and offer modeling and strategy insights to the executive team and corporate. As a key member of the executive team they will rationalize investments and develop strategies to grow profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical thought leadership, and ensure the use of robust methodologies by business units
  • Review and validate business plans and associated financial forecasts from each business unit to ensure reliable and accountable planning
  • Develop and deploy an approach to monitor business KPIs across operating businesses to identify emerging trends and provide insights about the drivers of performance
  • Design, implement and track KPI to measure performance against strategic goals and objectives
  • Perform ad hoc analysis in support of critical and responsible investment decisions across IMG
  • Deliver precise and accurate traffic, revenue and KPI data and business insights to IAC in support of earnings and investor relations reporting
  • Drive financial analysis of risks and opportunities that stretch across multiple business units and require input from many stakeholders
  • Deliver insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Executive Management and IAC Corporate

Professional Skill Level

  • 6+ years’ experience in a financial planning or analytical role
  • Experience in internet advertising, digital publishing, internet search, e-commerce or related field preferred
  • Experience providing decision support to executive management
